Adults
I'd recommend playing the cello for:
who had learned about the classical music, an instrument, or more instruments, and as adults love classical music.
Who would be happy to play a new instrument or to play music again with the teacher.
Many people choose this "hobby" after the founding of family and then they can go deeper with the joy of learning music. Playing cello is excellent entertainment for all ages.
Never too late to start!
As an adult, the goal is obviously different than in childhood. Perhaps in the meantime the person's taste in music is changing. Soit can be classical music, jazz, pop, or any of your favorite genre of music: in my class get all space, even without music reading skills, building on the classical foundations.
It is always enjoyable to teach adult, because most want to relax and to go away from the monotonous, daily routine and noisy world. But with the magic of the cello sound helps to fly an other continent.
